Some CHCs have expressed a wish to dispose of obsolete and faulty IT equipment such as computers and printers.

Therefore the IT Support Group has been in communication with Coventry Finance Dept and NHS Supplies to ascertain the correct procedure for disposing of such items.

We are working with the Finance and NHS Supplies departments to draw up a protocol and form for the disposal of equipment. We are keen to make the process of disposals as quick and uncomplicated as possible but at the same time want the system implemented to be clearly auditable.
